After seven years at McKinney York Architects, Mr. Carlson became an Associate of the firm in 2007. He was Project Manager for the Robbs Run House, which has been the most widely published project in the firm’s history. The house has won a local design award, been rated 5-stars by the Austin Green Building Program, and was featured in AIA tours at the local, state, and national levels. He also manages many of the firm’s public transportation projects for Capital Metro, including the Leander Transit Facility; the Lakeline, Leander, and Saltillo Plaza commuter rail stations; and the Rapid Bus Stations. Clients appreciate Mr. Carlson for his enthusiasm, flair for design, attention to detail and thoughtfulness.
