Riverbend Church Master Plan

Austin, Texas

Riverbend Church is located on a beautiful 52 acre campus located in the northwest section of Austin, comprised of eight different multi-purpose buildings. McKinney York began work to develop a master plan for the campus in collaboration with Overland Partners. The design of the master plan focused on the refinement of existing architectural vocabulary and detailing. Since 1995, McKinney York has continued to work with the church to revise the master plan in anticipation of annexation of the site by the City of Austin at the end of 2000. The revised master plan incorporates proposals for maintenance facilities, a retreat center, an office complex, a columbarium, additional education facilities, and a retirement community.
