About

Oak Hill UMC Master Plan

Oakhill United Methodist Church, Austin, Texas

This growing church approached McKinney York with a small site, an odd assortment of buildings ill-suited to their needs, and the opportunity to purchase an adjoining site. The church desperately needed a larger cohesive campus to unify the congregation both physically and spiritually.  McKinney York produced a master plan structured in three phases to allow the church to grow in size and endowment concurrently. The first phase includes a new adult education building, a sanctuary expansion, a new covered walkway linking all major buildings, a new plaza and playground, new parking areas, and new city sewer service. Later phases include a new 800-seat sanctuary, a children's education building, a family life center, an outdoor pavilion, playgrounds and ball fields, and additional parking.
