Blanton Museum Second Floor Gallery Renovation

scroll View Description

After five years of renovations, the Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art reopened in February 2017. As part of that effort, McKinney York designed minor renovations to second floor galleries and their vestibules which enable the Museum to display more art in a more cohesive, fresh way. Close attention to detail including the resolution of visually distracting elements such as fire extinguisher cabinets, fire alarm devices, and room and exit signage resulted in elegant, intimate galleries and happy curators.
