Project Details

The Frost Tower Mezzanine, overlooking the lobby of Frost Tower in San Antonio, blends an exhibition space with a reception space. The space shares the story of Frost Bank with visitors and clients through historical artifacts, interactive digital displays, infographics, and narrative text.

Custom millwork hosts the exhibit materials and defines a comfortable space for gathering and learning. The shape and orientation of the cases references the Frost Bank logo, while the material palette draws inspiration from local materials, making use of oak and limestone. Splashes of the brand’s signature blue throughout the space create an atmosphere that is distinctly Frost.

McKinney York Architects worked in cooperation with exhibit designer Erin McClelland Museum Services for this project.
